You may have noticed there have been no updates here for a while.\u00a0 This has been a case of “life happens”.\u00a0 I originally set this site up over two years ago as a place for my partner and I to share our experiences in making purchases together.\u00a0 What I didn’t know at the time was that doing this as a project with my “partner” was shooting at a moving target.\u00a0 Relationships don’t always work.<\/p>\n

No one has ever looked at me like she does<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My quandary was what to do with this site?\u00a0 My partner was never that interested even when we were together.\u00a0 But neither did I want to lose the work I put into it.\u00a0 For a while, though, initiative was a very hard commodity to come by.\u00a0 When the clouds darken your life gradually, sometimes it’s hard to see just how dark things have really become.\u00a0 And so the site languished.\u00a0 It wasn’t until I met Michelle and she brought the sun back that I realized how dark I’d let myself get.\u00a0 I look at photos of myself before and after and there is no comparison.<\/p>\n

So, initiative is in more abundant supply now.\u00a0 I don’t want to lose the work I’ve done, but neither do I want to just put Michelle in like she’s a replacement.\u00a0 She isn’t.\u00a0 We aren’t.\u00a0 In the end, though, I decided not to overthink it.\u00a0 This is a together project, and we are going to do it together.\u00a0 That simple.<\/p>\n
